  1. Where is the St. Paul depot located?
    The St. Paul depot is located at the Greyhound Bus Terminal 166 W. University Avenue. It is located off Marion Avenue, on University. Telephone number is 651-222-0508.
  2. Where is the Minneapolis depot located?
    The Minneapolis depot is located in the Greyhound Bus Station in the Hawthorne Center in downtown Minneapolis. 950 Hawthorn Avenue. Located off of Hennepin Avenue and 9th Street on Hawthorne. Telephone number is 612-371-3325.
  3. If I buy a ticket, change my mind and don't use it, how long before the ticket expires?
    Tickets expires after one year. At that time, another ticket can be reissued. This does not apply to internet tickets.  They are non-refundable.   Tickets are subject to a refund if schedules are cancelled due to weather.
  4. What is the URL of the Jefferson Bus lines Web site and phone number?

  5. How much luggage can I bring on the bus?
    You are allowed to check one bag on the bus and carry on two pieces of luggage. Second bag is $15.00.  Third, fourth,fifth, etc. bag is $15.00 each.  The carry on luggage must fit under your seat or in the overhead bin.
  6. Is there a weight limit on luggage?
    Yes. The maximum weight for checked baggage is 50 lbs. and must not exceed 62 inches per individual piece of luggage. A charge of $15-$25 will be applied to luggage that is over the weight and height requirement.
  7. Is there a hotline number if run is cancelled because of bad weather?
    Call Jefferson Lines at 800-451-5333 and they will have the necessary information.
  8. What are the buses equipped with?
    The buses are equipped with air conditioning, an on- board restroom, reclining seats with headrests, footrests, and tinted windows.
  9. What is permitted on board?
    Food, non-alcoholic beverages, radios, laptops, and other electronic items. Please bring headphones when using electronic to not disturb fellow passengers.
  10. What is not permitted on-board?
    Smoking is not permitted. No dogs, cats, or other animals are permitted, unless it is a service animal. Alcohol, guns, and drugs are strictly prohibited by law.
  11. Are there assigned seats?
    No, seating is on a first come, first served basis.
